I finally watched "Miracle." It was a really good movie. I have new respect for Kurt Russell. I had no expectations other than wanting to see the scene that they filmed at my old dorm. That scene, by the way, was so brief that I can't believe it was actually worth their time to put up with all the shit they got. They should have just shot the 20-second clip in a studio or something and been done with it.

In other news, I'm sick of of TV shows ending their seasons with big overly dramatic cliffhangers. There is no need to shoot/kill/maim/imprison your main characters. I like your show enough already that I'm going to watch next season. Making me wait several months to see how you resolve the situation only pisses me off. Also, when you show the crucial moment on commercials for two weeks before you air the episode, it tends to lose its poignancy/shock value. Oh, and PS: if the show is named after a character, we already know that that character can't die, so there's even less point to leaving him/her in mortal peril over the summer.
