I have a few minutes, and I thought I would give this thing some attention. I changed the way that it looks a little. I am not completely satisfied with it, but it is better now, and since I am not great with html codes and such, I figure its good enough. I keep saying I will post some pictures soon. I intend to do so now, and I will give breif updates little by little through out my days of major events that I have failed in incorporate into entries because I have failed to write at all. This episode will be about volleyball and roommates (for those are the pictures that I had time to update, and they are ready to be displayed).
Volleyball has been a lot of fun this year. I havent gotten as much play time as I would like, but it is definately improving for now I am played in every game, no matter what the score is, and I know that I have gotten so much better than when I first started. It is ashame however that I will not be able to play next year too. I realized this the other day. Next year I have to take all my business classes at night, which means that I will not be able to make practices and many games. This is a huge bummer, but I am glad that I did it this year so that I at least had the opportunity. The trips have been a lot of fun. A couple of weeks ago we went to Atlanta. We were stealing people's stuff and making them fight and fly over seats to retrieve them. I sat in the very back seat and at one point I made it all the way to the front to try and get my pillow back. It was a whole lot of fun. In one trip to Clearwater we got in an accident. A lady in the car next to us lost consciousness and side-swipped us. It was really scary. She was all crapped out and we had to call 911 and everything. I, being the lifeguard that I am, was the first to respond to help her. She had many siezures, and was finally taken to the hospital. Everyone in our car was fine. There was mild damage to the front panel of the van, but no big deal.
Dang I didn't think that one would be so huge. This was actually at the Clearwater school, a few hours before we got in the accident.
This was at Bethney's house before our game in Leesburg. We had a lot of fun, and they fed us a ton of food.
Dang, that one is huge too, sorry about it. This was at Bethney's house too, right before we drove out to the school. We used this picture for the website. Bottom row: Brittany, Bethney, Jessica, Me, Christi, Irene. Top Row: Audrey, Jessica, Tara, Tabitha, Mallory, Steph, and Miss. Betty.
We were caught in the lockers, and it was sad.
I want to get some more pictures of being actually in the game, so I will see what I can do about that. I'll try to give my camera to someone while I play this weekend. We are going to Georgia again this weekend. I jope it is not weird. We had kind of a fall out with the coach for what I thought was senseless. Apparently some people were sending around a petition to get miss Betty fired, or at least to have a different coach. Last week after one of our home games we had a big meeting to discuss the possibilities of it. Basically it was unanimous that she not drive anymore. She is terrifying behind the wheel - a lot of times she stops looking at the road to talk to people, and to rummage through her purse, and many other things. But beyond that I think just a few people get their feelings hurt easily and really just need to sit down and talk to her like an adult, instead of like a child. I think that would go a long way. In any event, I look forward to this weekend as being a lot of fun, and the time when I get to have my life back. Of course instead of having Volleyball in the evenings, I will soon begin my job at the school.
So about my roommates. I love my room. Every year has been so different. Freshman year I had wonderful roommates that were more mentors than anything else. They encouraged me to do good things like go to bed early and finish my homework, and eat right, and be a good, healthy person. They were wonderful. My roommates last year were great too, but it was completely different. We were ridiculous, and there was a lot of random things that happened, and it wasnt what anyone expected, at least not what I expected. I really thought that we would all hang out a lot. We hung out as a room very seldomly, and that made me really sad. This year has been kind of a combo of the first 2 years. We are silly, and we have fun hanging out a whole lot. We also lift eachother up, and do everything we can to encourage eachother and listen to one another. I really feel like we understand eachother. A couple weeks ago we all went to TGI Fridays and took some pictures.
That one is small, but you get the idea.
Its Amy P, Kristen, Jill and I.
This is how we are in the individual rooms, me and Amy and Kristen and Jill.
I think this one is my favorite
Yeah, this one is is like prom.
We are the silliest. I love them a lot!
