I am become one of the undead
Update in bullet-list-type format:
-First, for those who missed it (and I never thought I'd be saying this), Caspian "eliminated" the other day. I never thought I'd live to see the day I'd be thankful for cat poo. First time for everything, ne?
-The job situation is working out really well. Yumm offered be 40 hrs/wk. in an assistant manager position which = health care, a higher wage, paid vacation. Basically, it turns out they hired me for that spot in that store, so I was pretty stoked about that. Compare it to the Glenwood, where I am washing dishes for minimum wage 15 hrs.wk.
Yeah.
This week I think I'm going to have to work both jobs. Means double shifts three times this week.. Well, two more anyway. Today was the first. 13.5 hours of actual work done since being awake at 5:45 this morning. I am literally getting up right now to walk upstairs to my room and pass the heck out, at 12:10 in the morning. I start at Yumm at 7 tomorrow.
Pain. And it's Monday.
Ah well, at least I am working. I can't complain, and I'm not, not really. I'm very thankful for the job at Yumm. I'm just very, very tired and I can't conceive of how I'm going to make it through the week.
-Third, too many people are offering icon commissions lately, and I want one from ALL OF THEM. I am totally going to just make gift art icons for 36 people - who are already picked, I have a list - and see what comes of it. I hope I can make people smile; I know I would be thrilled to get a random icon from a friend.
