Nano and Other Things
I am way behind in Nano. But I did about 6000 words today, so I think I'll finish on time, if barely.
For those not in the know, I'm writing about a pair of friends who are lapsed Catholic; I say that in the sense that they both still believe in Heaven and Hell and God and everything, but they both believe that they're going to Hell anyway. So, they figure, they might as well try to make their sins match each other as closely as possible to be together in damnation. Fun times.
That is about how well I have been doing.
There was a Linguistics wine and cheese thing today. It was fun once I found someone to talk to, but that took longer than I was hoping. Either way, it was free food, free booze, and worth it for the lesson that I still like white wine.
I got my term papers done last week. Now I don't have to worry about them even though I hate how both of them turned out.
I'll be back on track with Nano by tomorrow. I don't know if I want to see people.
