So friday afternoon i worked at panera from 11 till 3, it was a pretty decent afternoon so i came home to relax. A few of my friends called at see if i wanted to watch the pistons and pacers game so i said sure after i pick up my car from getting fixed. I got finally got my car and drove to the bank so i could get gas money and spare cash. Well after i got out of the bank i pulled up to a red light and a grayish brown explorer honked his horn at me and signaled my to roll down my window. He said he got free speakers and wanted to know if i wanted to buy them for a cheap price. Well since i've been looking around for some subs for my car i thought i might as well just take a look at them. He pulled into a parking lot and i got out(probably my first mistake), the speakers he had in his car where some british entertainment speakers. He said that he was a truck driver and was given 6 speakers instead of 2 so he wanted to get rid of them. He showed me a magazine with them in it (something i think was pulled out of the trash) and continued to say they where worth $1486.00 but was willing to give them away for less than half. He continued to talk to me and show me what they looked like and say that hes been working for this company for for about 3 years. Then he asked me if i had any money on me to buy anything, (my second mistake) i said i had about 50 when i actually had had a little more. After hearing that i didn't have that much money he said "oh wait i saw you pull out of a bank so you could probably get more money", i thought to myself this isn't looking good i think hes been doing this to a few other people and was just waiting for me. So i lied and said i was pretty much broke and could only get about a hundred more, i could tell he was taken back but he continued to ask if i had a credit card or something. At this point in time i was thinking to myself i wonder if i could take this guy if something happened and even his friend who was waiting in the car. He said he was getting kinda late for this meeting he had and once he got there he would loose the extra merchandise and loose his job and he didn't want to do that because he just moved here from Georgia and he said he just got this job about 3 months ago (a major slip up on his part because earlier he said he was doing this for 3 years). Now after hearing all this i started to head to my car and say i'm sorry for wasting your time, i got in my car and the guy comes over and sticks his head and arm into my car since my window was still down from when he signaled me over. He said in a pretty scary tone that he wasn't finished talking to me so i started my car and started to pull out. Now when i was pulling away he kicked my end of my car and i waited for a brake in traffic. While i was waiting i watched him put the speaker back into his suv and get into his car. I finally got a break and pulled into traffic but the guy was right behind me, he sped in front of me and hit his brakes. It was at this time i was getting a little nervous so i swerved on to a side street and floored it to try and get away from this psycho. Thankfully i didn't see him again but when i was driving to my friends house every time i saw something kinda like this guys car i got really paranoid. So i think this was a learning experience to never pull over when a guy says he has something he wants to sell you out of the back of his car because it's psycho a hot item.
