I just finished reading Kit Whitfield's urban fantasy novel "Benighted". I think it's called "Bareback" in the UK, but was sold under a different title in the US. I recommend it highly

I agree with everything you said about this book! I love it.

(It was Bareback in the UK. Apparently the US publishers told the author in shocked tones what 'bareback' meant in American English and she said 'yeah, it's the same thing in British, that's why I want to call it that!' but it didn't fly.
