a bit discouraged, but not giving up yet

So, I have been trying to lose weight for a long time, but I've not been consistent or committed with my efforts. I've been giving up too easily or just sidetracked by lack of motivation. Are you also tracking your strength and measurements/clothing fit? I tend to find, when I track my weight, that it has weirdly little resemblance to the way I perceive myself looking and feeling...

Also it was great to run into you even briefly yesterday! Would love to have you over for dinner next week some time.

Well, my jeans and trousers fit a bit looser, which is good. But, I've been trying to gauge progress by weight and so I was just a bit disappointed when I saw no progress. Oh well, maybe next week, I will see some difference. :)

It would be great to see you and hang out. I have been thoroughly antisocial while trying to work and I think the other day was the first time all semester I've been on campus longer than teaching and exercise stuff requires. Let me know when will be a good day. I'm free most evenings. :)
