Merry Christmas, darling...

Christmas is so different now...
but I still love it.

As a kid it was all about the magic of Santa for me...
and the gifts of course.

Well, now the gifts are few: a giftcard, gas money, a new coat, and Pan's Labyrinth.
And the magic is of a different kind.
It's so awesome that I get to spend this season focused exclusively on my friends and family.
I'm home for a month and the people I love are my only worries
no finances to take care of
no school anything
no stress
this is a beautiful time in my life, really.

Christmas this year was different by leaps and bounds,
but just as magical
and just as fulfilling.

I love this season.

I did have a single Christmas wish,
but it was certainly a longshot and mildly outlandish.
I'm not heartbroken or even disheartened.
If it's meant to happen now or at all, it will.
If not, it won't. 
I love that my faith is renewed.
