Did I mention I can't wait to go home?
I don't know how I find such wonderful people.
I don't know how they come to care for me so much.
I love the warm-fuzzies you get when you find out that someone has been being an amazing friend behind your back.
This is all prompted by the fact that I saw Rusty (crazy/funny kid who lives next to Chris & Xander) on my walk back from class. He apologized for "sitting on [me] and being all over [me] that one time." He mentioned that Chris talked to him about it this morning. Last night I mentioned that he snuck a boob-brush the last time he mauled me. I think these things are related.
I feel like this is gonna be a long one... brace yourself.
I've been really upset since Saturday. I was basically crushed by someone very close to me who I'd basically fallen for. I didn't tell a lot of people because I've been working on keeping some things to myself. He didn't mean to, but it happened. So, recovery. (I'm making it sound like less of a deal than it actually was).
But I realised how incredible my friends are once again.
Both Laura and Brandi cried for me. Like, they were in tears while I told them, it blew my mind.
Both Briana and Ashlie knew me well enough to tell me not to just "get over it."
Robbie visited and I had kind of been crying so I had to tell him. I barely know him. He hugged me and said "The guy you deserve is out there."
And Leslie loved on me.
And Chris & Sam consoled me.
And I love my friends.
I talked to him (the guy) last night. And we're fine. I was honest. He was honest. And he's too good of a friend to lose over this. Love that kid TO DEATH really and his friendship is invaluable.
Aside from that...
Class is over for the semester.
I adore Jeannie McCarthy absolutely positively.
I realised last night that, while I'm super excited, part of me is afraid to go home, and that the feeling is merited.
Aaand my bagel has been sitting in the microwave for 15 minutes now.
