PS: Whirling Turban are fantastic. I've seen several of their dresses and they are soooo well made!

Really? Oh, that's marvellous! I spoke to Dottie from Whirling Turban on the phone and she seemed super nice.

Thanks! You're an expert on vintage and vintage-type dresses, so I'm delighted to hear that you like them!

Awww, hey, thanks! ;D

It was partly Whirling Turban that made me want to diet. I measured myself for a dress and thought, no, I really can't order a dress with hips THAT big!

But they are incredibly well made. The bodice is boned so well you can go bra-less!

These are all Whirling Turban numbers as well: http://pinup-parade.com/galleries/kimberley/kimberley1.htm

Wow, those are some gorgeous frocks!

I am a bit worried about the dresses fitting us. Jessica's was from the boutique, so it was not custom-made to fit, and my measurements fell between two of the sizes offered, so I wasn't certain which to choose. We may have to lose or gain weight accordingly (most likely lose)! But there are several months before the wedding, so hopefully that's enough time!

I know it's not easy though, so you must be pretty proud of yourself!

As you're wearing vintage-style dresses, you could wear some vintage-style underwear! ;)

I think they're even in Canada...!

They skim off an inch or two!

As long as you've measured yourself properly you should be ok. And when I mean properly, I mean, don't pull the tape in so tightly round your waist that you turn blue. ;D *as i have done in the past and ended up with stuff I can't wear*

Sorry, they're in Maryland, not Canada... nevermind!

Maybe we can ask for vintage-styled underwear as a wedding present.

Think we can put that on a registry? :o
