Brand New Day
New job started today. It'll be interesting, especially since I'm little more than a Deploy Tech at first. Still, I'm glad I'm getting better pay. We have no permissions yet, so that kind of sucks. But it's gonna be a good job I think. My other new cohort was a Geek Squad guy, and I'm not quite sure what to make of him yet. He definitely knows more about HW (though I can still hold my own a bit), but I have him and our senpai (sry, watching Ouran) beat on software and systems stuff. Deere really taught me a great deal, and I'm not going to use quite a bit of it for a while. There's not much in the way of documentation, so I'm going to see, once I get used to everything, to doc some stuff. As I am decent at it (though I write too much sometimes on it). Stuff to think about.
Got home, chilled, watched some Ouran, and then rode my bike to the District. First time I'd ridden a bike in a decade, and it shows. I walked some, my hip hurt, and my ass hurts like no other from that bony thing sticking into it (no homo). Still, a good start. I'm gonna do more later (home from theatre/Sage & Adam's tomorrow), but for now it's a start.
Ouran is distracting. It's so damn funny. I'm on the Honey-senpai toothache episode. So cute, so funny.
Distracting... I had other thoughts to put down. But I don't think they're right for now. Suffice to say, I'm not quite sure what the plan is, how to proceed. But I'm excited for the possibilities.
Anywho, sleep time. And another brand new day tomorrow.
