Today 57 years ago...on this day in 1967..at 7am..the BBC admitted that there was such a thing as Pop Music..Tony Blackburn opened up the day with the band, The Move singing " Flowers In The Rain "...on the new wireless station Radio One....at ten years old i was probably not aware of the day...i probably let myself out of the Kitchen door and trundled to junior school with my marbles in my pocket..we would have screamed in the playground played Marbles in the playground grids made funny faces at the girls whom screamed louder than us boys..a tiny girl called Mary liked me alot...i was madly in love with the girl next door called Hilary whom had already started in the local grammer school..she introduced me to the American band The Monkees..her bedroom walls were feasted with the current pop groups...one day i caught sight of her white bra and thought Gosh..she did let me snog her once....Sadly on the 1st April 1968...my family moved to Alcester Warwickshire...even after all these years i still think on that white bra on the bed..and through all that innocence..i would one day wear a bra myself...and thank goodness...for the song Flowers In The Rain...
To All Whom Pass This Way Love And Peace Take care So Goeth..XX
