Dunno if I linked this before, but what the hell. The very first Megami Tensei anime is up on the YouTubes. Dating back to 1987, when the only game was the one made by Namco (wtf) on the Famicom. (There was the MSX game put out by Telenet, but not sure which came first, or how how much the two games differed.) In any case it seems to follow the novel, which I'm still trying to slog through. It's all so very 80s, no question. I'm not sure if that's a point in its favor or not.
