Oh Shōwa, my Shōwa.
Today I started playing Chulip, naming the protagonist Hajime and the girl of his dreams Aoi. I really love the look which seems sort of mid-to-late 60s, at least going by the look of a few of the characters and the general setting.
...Hajime has already had his heart broken quite a bit, and I've gotten a little irked having to replay parts. >:/
However, he is getting stronger! He's already kissed an onion, a man living in a garbage can, a hurdy-gurdy player, a chibikaiju, a boxer with a few teeth missing, and the stone lion who runs the public bath.
To say this is a strange game is unnecessary.
