(no subject)
Since Mom and Peter went to MA on vacation, Jonathan and his girlfriend Rachel have been coming by to keep me company and hang out. The other night, since Rachel hadn't seen Snatch, we popped it in to watch.
Me: You know, I think getting into slash has warped me, because now I completely ship two of the characters in this.
Jonathan: Ship? What does that mean?
Me: *a little embarrassed* It means I see said characters in a relationship, and like, support it.
Jonathan: Ah, okay. *pause* Do you mind if I ask who?
Me: Erm. Sol x Vinny. >_>
Jonathan: I thought that was a given. They constantly bitch at eachother like a married couple.
Me: You see it too? XD
Jonathan: Hell yeah. And Vinny catches.
Me: *after a few seconds incapable of speech from laughing* Jonathan, I think I love you.
Also, my fandom makes me sad.
Seriously, Fatal Fury fic tends to, for the most part, suck ass.
And center on the anime.
The games have so many great characters, and so much storyline potential and instead I'm stuck slogging through lots of bullshit bad slash involving Andy being closeted. Don't even get me started on the Lily Maguire or Sulia-Mary Sues and Tony-Gary Stus there to comfort Terry. And little to no love for Higashi at all, or any of the other characters for that matter.
Oh! And if it isn't based off the anime, it's based off Mark Of The Wolves and is all about Rock being an emo kid.
It's times like this that I wish I were a better and more prolific writer, because goddamn, we need some quality. D:
