When I was at the library today I got an idea (out of nowhere, mind you) for an RP. I've never done the online RP thing, really, but now I kinda want to do this.
I already mentioned it to Kama earlier, but the more I think about it, the more I want to do it.
Hoping to talk to Mags but in the meantime I ran it by Samuraiter.
Me: I have an idea for an Alternate Universe RP that would kick SO much ass.
Samuraiter: Lay it on me, Mature. What's the dealy?
Me: A Fatal Fury one set in the jazz-age/Depression era.
Samuraiter: Duck King doing his Charlie Parker impersonation?
Me: *cackle* That's a thought.
Samuraiter: Geese as a ... mob boss. Guess he doesn't change that much.
Me: Southtown is such a dirty little town anyway, imagine bootlegging and tommy guns.
Me: Exactly!
Samuraiter: < Geese > *chewing cigar* "Bogard, Terry Bogard. This man, this man, he's up in my business."
Samuraiter: (I don't why, but I'm picturing Geese talking like Pacino.)
Me: Well, Geese was the right hand of the former Mafia Don.
Me: That is part of the canon.
Samuraiter: < Billy > *wearing one of those cool caps*
Me: Which caps? *curious*
Samuraiter: I don't know what the word is for it. Like di Caprio in Gangs of New York.
Me: Aaah, okay.
Samuraiter: King's already dressed for the period, but she's AOF.
Me: Age the AOF characters ten years. :P
Samuraiter: < Yuri > *pageboy haircut, slinky red dress*
Me: Ripper: *aside to Geese* Imagine the scandal... The Boss's daughter Ronette shacking up with one of those chinks and having kids with him. That girl's got her mother's looks though.
Me: God, I want to do this now. XD
Samuraiter: (chuckling) Good idea to keep on file.
Me: I found a time line to help things along, predating the Depression and listing stuff leading up to it.
Samuraiter: *framed picture of Calvin Coolidge in Geese's office*
Me: *cackle*
Me: Mary's all set with the haircut. X3
Samuraiter: And Yamazaki's already a gangster.
Me: Right. And the Chinese Exclusion Act gives Yamazaki a reason to smuggle the Jin brothers in as their protector.
Samuraiter: And you know Hon Fu looks dead sexy in the Elliot Ness outfit.
Me: Oh god.
Me: I WANT TO DRAW THAT
Me: I hearts Hon Fu.
Samuraiter: I know. S'why I said it.
Me: Now, would we nice to Duck and let him have his club, or would it burnt the fuck to the ground?
Me: Private joke there. XD
Samuraiter: Burn it.
Samuraiter: So Richard can get pissed at him.
Me: Poor guy. XD
Me: I may have to ask about and see if people would be into playing this. :P
Any suggestions? Ideas? Anyone care for a mint?
