Sanctuary - Proves why Magneto is one of the greatest and most interesting villains there is.

Beyond Good and Evil - One of the coolest arcs on the show. A non-stop ride that keeps upping the stakes. Man, it's been too long since I've seen it. Unfortunately, I think the show went downhill after this.

Secrets Not Long Buried - Toad was there right from the very beginning, but he was CLEARLY Magneto's lackey. He looked like one and wasn't meant to be threatening. He's a toad, he's that bumbling subhuman creature in Gummi Bears that's only there to serve Duke Igthorn (or Magneto in his case). Toad has been given depth, but MUCH later on, I don't think Stan Lee aspired to do anything more with him. Once Toad became a character in his own right (not sure exactly when it happened, possibly the 90's, but it was before the movie and Evolution), he got a bit more interesting (but still a loser).

Family Ties - Didn't Tara Strong voice Wanda? Polaris suffers a lot from murky X-Men continuity. Before the 80's, there was a possibility that she was related to Magneto, but in the 90's, they did a test to prove she wasn't related to him but rather to Zaladane from the Savage Land (the green hair, Zala Dane and Lorna Dane, etc.) but then in the 00's they retconned it so she really IS Magneto's daughter. So when TAS was on the air, she definitely wasn't his daughter, but before Wolverine and the X-Men premiered, she definitely was his daughter. I like Magneto's family, I really do, I just don't like how in cartoons it's mostly X-Men centric where they're more subservient to him and often villainous. They were only like that for a few years in the comics until they joined the Avengers and became heroes in their own rights. At least TAS showed Quicksilver on X-Factor, all the other times, he's been solely on villain teams. Then you've got things like the Iron Man and Avengers cartoon which completely rob the Scarlet Witch of her history. It's like you lose either way.

Sanctuary: I like it better when Magneto isn't a villain and this episode was one of the reasons why.

Beyond Good And Evil: I'm pretty sure The Phalanx Covenant rocked and even though I've never seen it from the story desciption Storm Front sounds pretty cool too.

Secrets Not Long Buried: Funny, you should mention Igthorn as here Toad almost looks like a stickier version of Toadie. I wonder if the Gummi Bears producers had him in mind when developing the Ogres.

Family Ties: See, I completely forgot that Quicksilver became a hero because of Evoltion and WATXM. It's something Wolverine needs to explore in the second season.
