Reviews for the latest episodes of The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and American Dad as well as for the Legion of Super Heroes I missed, Elmo's Christmas Countdown, The Pixar Short Films Collection, and Mercy Reef / Aquaman.
The Simpsons: I don't even remember there being a musical montage. It must have left a big impression on me. :P
King of the Hill: The audience was supposed to think she was about to be given away at the end. I'll give the episode credit: that was very clever of them to do.
American Dad: I think Roger was JUST unlikable enough to deserve everything thrown at him this episode. It was masterful.
LOSH: Thanks for the info on Terra Man. I loved this episode too.
Boundin': The song is catchy but that's all the short has going for it.
Jack-Jack Attack: It's quite odd that this particular short is exclusive to DVD. It would have killed in the theaters. I also have to say I REALLY loved the Mr. Incredible and Pals short on the Incredibles DVD especially played with the commentary by Mr. Incredible and Frozone and was disappointed it wasn't on this set even if I realize why it wasn't (not CGI).
Batman Crosses the Street: Nope, just really REALLY hurt.
Smallville: I think the last scene of the series should be a flash forward of Clark in his Superman suit flying over Metropolis in a Christopher Reeves face in close up. If it isn't the whole series will have been for nothing.
Hothead: That's right! That's awesome!
Craving: The episode sucked. I love Amy Adams. She deserved better.
Crush: I don't care. They should hook up at some point even if it's a few weeks before she dies (you KNOW they are going to kill her off in the series finale).
Homer was eating while Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf" played. It didn't go on as long as some of the others have, but still, so unnecessary.
The only way they could've put Jack-Jack in the theatres was right after the movie, and it would've been weird after just seeing Syndrome die, and it would've also looked like a collection of deleted scenes or something. I'm glad there was some distance from the movie. Mr. Incredible and Pals made me laugh so hard tears came out my eyes.
I'd like to see that kind of ending for Smallville, but I think they might be a little spineless about showing an actual Superman suit (or Clark in it). I want to have either the suit or him deciding to call himself Superman, but I'm not holding out hope for the entire package.
Amy Adams is cute. I didn't even realize I'd seen her in so many things like Smallville, Buffy, and the Office before.
I always thought they'd kill of Chloe, but they may not, especially since they're finally getting around to putting her into mainstream DC continuity.

Jack-Jack Attack: True. I loved Mr Incredible and Pals SO much. It's even funnier with the commentary on.
Smallville: How about both?
Craving: Who did she play on Buffy?
Crush: Please give details about putting her in DC continuity.

I believe Amy Adams played Tara's sister.
So far there's not a lot of info about Chloe, and this seems to have been rumored a while, but it looks like it'll happen sooner or later. Here's a little blurb - http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0712/16/index.htm

Craving: I HATED Tara's sister. I was hoping Adams played somebody cool since she's so likable. Oh, well.
Crush: Thanks for the info.
