Those were funny. I liked #6 as well. I'm kind of wondering about #4, though...what happened to the real mental patients?

I'm pretty sure the majority of the list is Urban Legends (although the teenager sticking his head in front of the train was true) including the mental patient one. But these stories are the kind of things that if they AREN'T true, they ought to be. :D

Fine. A modest but appreciated haul this year, (new foam pillow currently being the stand out.) Ofcourse, like Revelator once said, when your an adult, the best presents are the ones you give yourself. I am now the proud owner of the entire futurama series. It's something I should have done long ago. (Seriously, back in 99 I was dubious that putting entire seasons of TV shows was a good idea. Then Futurama premeired and I found every episode to be the funniest show ever, and I thought "Now THIS is a series I'd buy a whole season of!" Took me a long time, though ( ... )

I'm dying to hear what you thought of Bender's Big Score.

I can't believe I missed the Transformers Animated premiere. I'm kicking myself.

Those sound like old Darwin Award nominees. I know I've heard the mental patient one before.
Always funny.

Yup. As I said above if they ain't really true they ought to be!

What did you think of Battlestar Galactica Razor? I personally didn't care for it.

I'm mixed. I didn't have the problems with it you did. I thought it put Cain in a better light (mostly, and not as much at the end) than she was in season 2. In fact, up until they showed the massacre on the Scilla, I thought everything she was doing made sense ( ... )

I didn't think her shooting her first officer in the face made sense but I can see how others would. I hated the movie. And like you said I would have preferred a story that dealt more with the story ahead of us than a prequel. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Almost all prequels suck.

One good thing about Shaw: she basically made sure that I will NEVER complain about Kara Thrace again. She is no longer the most whiny and unlikable character on the show by a long shot with Shaw in existence.

There's some background on the mental patient one here:

Yeah, that one sounded too funny to be true. The related story of the students driven to madness after pretending to be sick enough to be in the hospital sounds ridiculous (me being someone who spent four years in a state hospital) and I'm actually surprised that there are people who actually believed it was true. The Zimbabwe Bus Driver Story is crazy enough to be plausible but THAT story sounds completely phony.
