Heroes - There's definitely more to Kensei/Adam's story than what we've seen. By now he has to want more than to destroy Hiro. I think Maury killed Hiro's father, though, the "blunt object" and all that. This episode had a lot going for it, but I hate that Mohinder told everything to Bob. Having your suspicions is one thing, but coming all out like that is another.
Kara is definitely cute. I liked the way they made her a little younger in the flashback. I'm a sucker for anything that involves Clark/Lara (or even Bruce/Martha) just because there's not nearly enough about how the heroes feel about their mothers, so I liked the episode. Didn't even think about the Lionel thing, but you're right. Between him and MM, you want Clark to take a stand against that sort of thing.
Interestingly enough, I just watched "Bunny Raven" today. What's the deal with "Yes We(You) Have No Bananas"?
Heroes: Mohinder keeps making mistake after mistake. I don't think he's cut out for this business and I think this pretty much proves it. He SHOULD have as you said kept his cards close to his vest. Telling Bob everything was stupid.
Smallville: I like that they got Helen Slater to play Lara. She has DC Comics connections after playing Supergirl in the movie of the same name and Talia Al Ghul on BTAS.
It's cool that Smallville has so many ties to live action Superman stuff and DC cartoons (although it's weird how a few of them pop up in Batman stuff). Kara also said the phrase "Far from home", which made me smile, even though I'm sure it was unintentional.
This season seems to be about the heroes doing all the wrong things. The worst of the bunch are Claire and Mohinder. They drive me batty. I'll have more to say soon.
I think it's definitive that Maury killed Kaito. Maury made Kaito think a hooded person was there where no one was and Kaito fell off the roof.
Nice theory about the Adam-Claire relation. Sounds like a good excuse to bring the mother back on. But then again, West and Nathan, not related. If they are, very wrong of the writers.
It seems Adam has the God-complex and found a new toy named Peter to use as his weapon. Now that's a villain. Can't see how they can top that unless they push the fictional aspect of the show (giant honkin' rampaging monsters, demons).

"The newest TV Guide reveals whether it was Maury or Adam who killed Kaito. I'll tell you if you want because it's really not that much of a spoiler when you've narrowed it down to two people who are working together. But I thought you should have the option of wanting to hear it or not as a courtesy

I hope so. I hope the strike doesn't last too long or worse yet cause the show (and potentially Lost) to be canceled. I know that's a total worst case scenario but reality shows are much cheaper to produce and don't have a union. :(
