"Torment of Winter" by Matt Donnelly

Oct 01, 2008 16:44

Winter winds whisper through fallen leaves
Wailing white wonder garbed the trees
Fickle flowing flora slumbered in silence
Awaiting spring finding winter in abundance

Cracking crunching crystals shattered old turpentines
Cascading crying calling the weeping pines
Enchantments ending enable those to be reborn
Golden rays awaken the world that was worn

Spring has sprung and new life abounds
The torment of winter no more hiding under mounds
Reborn to start the cycle again
Isn't it a pity to go back to where it all began
