I'm unhappy with my job. Not doing it (though I'm getting weary of that too), but mostly the way the business is being run. Certain departments are being devoid of new workers whereas others have hired fifteen people in addition to some of their workload already being offloaded to others. Jeff from Production threatened to quit, and so did Britt from the Client Solutions Group (because she was only staying on account of Jeff staying--she likes working with him). Now and only now, apparently, they're reconsidering hiring some more people. I think if it had just been Jeff, they would have told him hasta la vista (sans "baby"), but now that they have someone who interacts with the clients involved, they're excited about fixing the situation. Bollocks, that is.
So, I'm updating the ol' resoom and looking around at prospectives. I'm currently stably employed at this point (and happy with the amount I make), so I don't feel like I need to jump at the first thing that comes my way. But, does anyone know of a sweet Seattle based company (a smaller one, preferably) that's looking for a Jack-of-all-Trades in the tech area with excellent communication skills?
(I would go to Moped Monday tonight, but I really feel like I should look for a job. Honestly, I was totally going to!)
