oo, that's a toughy. too bad you weren't at ATF, because that's exactly what they were talking about one night. Honoring your parents even if they've hurt you in the past and just giving it all over to God. The guy who spoke (Ron Luce) even talked about how his mom beat him so bad that he couldn't go to school b/c he was in the hospital and he finally moved out and in with his dad after he went to court and testified against his mom. Then, a few years later, he got saved and realized that even though his mom was in the wrong, he still needs to love and honor her b/c that's what the Bible tells us to do. Plus, she's the woman God chose to bring him into this world by and there's clearly a reason for that. So, after years and years of calling (and getting hung up on) she finally let him talk, then visit, and one day she broke down and apologized for everything and now she is saved and an amazing woman of God! So, that's funny that you mention that. I don't know anything about you and your father's relationship... but I'm sure that if you just give it to God and just pray that He gives you the strength to do what you need to do.. everything will turn out PERFECT in the end!!!! :0)
