5 BUCKS!!!
Do you like the band 5 BUCKS? if not stop reading..
OK heres the deal. This is NOT a real update this is to find out how many people liked the band 5 BUCKS and how many people would still support them. Even if you dont do the whole live journal thing this is important (to me at least). This is the story:
5 Bucks rocked our socks off throughout highschool they were a great fun band. I miss them im sure you do to. Towards the end (of them being a band) they mentioned there DVD coming out.. that was in October of 2002. Skully B endded the band when he got a "teaching gig" at merrimack highschool, the band went there seprate ways for a while, dave played drums for Big D and the Kids Table, people went there seprate ways. For a while I thought 5 Bucks was back in the form of Air Hockey Champion... that lasted about a year.
Anyways, My Dad works with Skully B (aka Nick Lavalley), he might be his boss I dunno. So whenever i go down to my dads work i see Nicks car and stop by his "office" and chat about the good old days when manch had a scene and pop punk/ska was cool. I always ask him what happend with the DVD and hes just like "mbajfwae" and were on a new subject. But tonight I saw him and we talked about good times and he told me wicked good random storys and i asked about the dvd, he said he was thinking about doing it and just make the cover and disks themselves like low budget and make a decent dvd and have it come with a cd with alot of sweet tunes on it. BUT hes not sure if its worth it, he thinks there are NO more 5 BUCKS! fans out there. If i can some how prove to him that there are alot of kids that want this one last 5 bucks thing i know hell follow through with it.
The cool part is hes only looking for like 50 people who wanna buy it (i think hes really just looking for a reason to make this DVD) so heres the catch: Leave a comment on here saying your REAL name (i guess it doesnt have to be real but if you dont have Live Journal just put your name) and have it say how you want a dvd and how much you would be willing to pay for it.
