So my car worries might have been a simple case of low tire pressure. Driving back to my apartment, some guy who looked like a skinny The Rock made some intricate hand motion while passing me that I decoded to be, "Yer tire's low." I checked when I got home, and sure enough, the back tire looked like a blobfish. After reinflating, I noticed a much better ride.

The lemongrass wheat turned out solid. It tastes more like peach than lemon, but it's still good. Sweeter than I expected.

We had a beer tasting session last night, after assembling some "build your own six-packs" at Central Market. We tried two from Unibroue, the Don de Dieu and the Trois Pistoles. DDD was excellent, a stronger variant of the Blache de Chambly I liked so much. Trois Pistoles was also along those lines, but darker; still very good, but not quite as great as DDD.

Also on board were Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, a lighter Australian beer called Cooper's, DFH's Raison d'Etre (deep mahogany, tastes of raisins, I loved it but Ricky seemed nonplussed), and Coal Porter, which I though had good notes but was not as complex a flavor profile as I demand from porter.

JJ's six included a Winter Bourbon Cask Ale that had a very strong and sought-after vanilla streak (and from Michelob, surprising quality!), a Golden Monkey, DFH - 90 min IPA (a perennial favorite), and a Censored beer that couldn't have been anything amazing as I have no strong impressions of it.
