there are times when you have to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are proud of who you are and what you've become. at times i wish i could agree with the negative connotations as of late, but it seems as though everything has led up to certain events that are bound to take place. when i've finally figured out that life is no longer in my hands, i've finally grown accustomed to where i'm headed. i can't change the past, just hope for forgiveness and a steady heart to look ahead.

im not sure why i felt compelled to write this, but it just hit me.
so i typed it out.
