My first official LJ entry!!
Even though I didn't type about anything that happened since my last xanga entry, a lot of interesting stuff actually happened. I was just too busy/lazy to write it all out ^_~
Here's a summary of events that you don't know about:
- I had summer school starting finals week of spring quarter to august 19th. -___-;;; It was such a drag... I felt that I've been in school for like the past 1.5 years non-stop. And now that it's over, I feel quite relieved 'cause it was the most productive I've ever been in summer time. And in case you were wondering, I took econ 1 and math 2d at this place called East Los Angeles College, a really really ghetto college dominated by mexicans. >_<;;; After this summer, I learned one thing: never take classes at ELAC anymore! The scheduling at ELAC is so whacked that I started before mt.sac did and ENDED after mt.sac ended. I feel tired just thinking about it... Even though summer school was over 10 weeks, there were some good things about ELAC. (1) All of my econ tests were take-home tests! How outrageous is that? (2) Both my teachers always let their classes out on average an hour early. Teaching is pretty lax at ELAC, nothing like UCI.
- I finally got my car and my insurance so I've been driving around in my pimped out Toyota Camry with rims hehe. I'll post up pix of my car after this entry. Even though its a ghetto 1996 model, it still knows how to burn rubber! Don't worry, I haven't received any speeding tickets yet and hopefully I never will! Traffic school sounds boring...
- I got a new RAZR V3 'cause I switched from Cingular to T-mobile and the cellphone place I went to gave me a deal on a RAZR for switching providers. I love it to death! Its so fun taking random pix of stuff and its so much more convenient than using a digicam, even though the pixel quality is bad. I'll show you pix of my phone later also. My cellphone number is still the same so no need to worry about changing it.
- Lauren and I reached our 4 month anniversary! Pretty amazing huh? For Lauren's birthday, I decided to make an especially special present for her by making a big Pokemon card and a jar of stars for her. Even though it took a long time to complete them, it was still fun to do ^_^;;;. I took a pic of the card before I gave it to Lauren so I'll show you it later too.
