At least some conservative gets it
Was watching Fox News Sunday (I sometimes watch just to see if Brit Hume's head will finally flip back and reveal the slimy alien controlling him) and found myself agreeing with Juan Williams. He said, apparently to the surprise of the other Fox commentators, that we live in a democracy. In a democracy, if you want to have some program that gathers everyone's phone records, secret prisons, etc., you should debate what kind of society we want, instead of doing these things behind everyone's backs.
Brit Hume, naturally said, "We're at war." I think a big reptillian tongue came out and licked his lips, but I can't vouch for that.
I don't expect Juan Williams to have a job much longer. We live in a democracy? People debate issues? The real question is, why does Juan Williams hate America?
