My subject line is as much an homage to this actual clip as to the fact that I find myself always drawn to arty/creative/alternative boys. Below is the opening sequence to the series Dexter. The basic storyline is about a sociopath whose murderous compulsions were recognized by his adoptive father early in life and who trained him that it's only ok to kill "bad" people. So as an adult, he's a serial killer who only kills people who deserve it. The show's actually pretty good. I hadn't watched an episode since I got DVR but heard a lot about it. It's pretty good. I love how this opening sequence was shot as if in an effort to reveal how "barbaric" just a normal morning is for us, if you look at it from a certain angle. It's just really cool how many gestures we make in the actions of getting ready to go out that corrispond to what is an obvious move a murderer would make :). And, while I've never been all gaga about Michael C. Hall, that last shot before he leaves his apartment. YUM!
So, here you go. Enjoy the art...and the sexiness!
