Busy Life
Hello all
It has been awhile since my last post, so I thought I would update a little bit. Things are going pretty well right now. We had a dr's appt on Tuesday, and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was so awesome! I was a little worried, because at out last appt. the dr couldn't find the heartbeat, but said that is completely normal. I was still a little worried, but all those worries were set aside when we heard that little pitter pat heartbeat. It was the most beautiful sound in the world!
Our next appt at the end of this month will be the one where we find out the gender of the baby. I am nervous, but also very excited about that. We both want a girl, but really just want a happy healthy baby. I was a little concerned with the fact that I am continuing to lose weight. The dr told me that it is normal during the first trimester to lose weight and that I will gain it all back in no time. I am just starting to get my appetite back, so hopefully that will help.
In other news, Matt went to orientation at Baker and is set to go with classes starting on Monday. I am really proud of him, because he is taking a big step in his life and he is doing it to help out our family and to make a better life for us. It is going to be a rough quarter though, because he is taking a couple of hard memorization classes that will require him to stay focused and on task. I will help him as much as I can, because I want him to finish this for his sake and for ours as a family.
Work has finally calmed down, Thank God! I am so tired of dealing with people who have nothing better to do than to complain about our prices! I am so ready for Matt to finish school, so I can get the heck out of Dodge!!
Other than that, everything else is good! I am happy, if only I didn't have to work! (but Matt is working on that). I would love to be able to work somewhere where I wanted to and when I wanted to. I can't wait!!
