Ride into Boston was crazy. My seat was broken, people and kids talking at every chance they got. Twas late at night so you would figure that people would sleep. GUESS NOT!!! Got in around midnight, Dave and Carol picked us up. Much love was shared by mom and daughter. Dave is certainly a Bostonian. We smoked a J in the back seat on the way to the house. Caroline got super cute when we walked into the house and we saw her bro Nick. He's almost taller than she is. She hugged him but couldn't stand next to him, she was still a little irked by his growth in height. Though the look on her face was priceless.
Sat - Fernando and I slept in while Caroline had to go to an appointment. Woke up round noon to Dave cooking us a delicious meal. Got to meet MJ as she came over and was going to head out with us. Started off at Sillivan's to get some burgers and fries down in Southie. Thick Boston accents, great food and a beautiful spot down by the water front next to this place called Castle Island. Great view, great food, great people. From there we went to take the T, which is what they call their train system in Boston. Took that straight to Fenway park. Got lots of Boston color there as plenty of people were ridding the train to the game, twas awesome hearing their accents. Couldn't get into Fenway but we at least got close. Smoked out in the park, then walked to Newbury to see a shopping district. Fernando and I did the guy thing as we went into the comic shop and then the camping store. I got Caroline a CD, Metallica's S&M where they preform with the San Francisco City Orchestra. Seriously awesome stuff. Walked to Beacon Hill, saw lots of cool buildings, I climbed a pole, we got a wee bit lost then found our way to City Hall. Some sort of free concert was going on so we walked into a bunch of kids and all the "junior muffins" as MJ put it. From there we walked to the water front to see if we could see the storm coming in. We sat down and chilled for a few moments being a little romantic and such. After that our destination was food, so we headed up to the North End and stumbled upon a street fair with music and lots of people looking like they were having a grand time. We ended up eating at this delicious pizza spot called Regina's. Stuff was amazing! From there we called it a night and headed to MJ's to watch a movie and smoke out. I passed out quick and missed most of Limitless, but from what I saw it was pretty damn good.
Ended up going back to the house late and I woke up at 9ish to a phone call from Kevin and Hilda. We went to this 50's diner and had a good breakfast, chatted it up a few, laughed it up a little and said adios. Wish they could have stayed a little longer, that would have been nice. And no gelato either...
Caroline saw some more family so Fernando, Nick and I stayed at home and watched deadliest warrior. Nick's a good kid, though I hear he has trouble controlling his temper. Once Caroline came back we went out to Boarders to buy some cheap books while Caroline and her mom went girlie shopping. After a few hours of looking around, I settled on just The Hunger Games while Fernando got a bunch of books, a few films and a poster. Nick got two posters but we made sure he made off with a book, hope he reads it. Went back to the house to pick up our stuff and now we're back on the bus.
Good weekend.

Just came across that in my gmail drafts. I was probably saving it to make it a journal elsewhere. But... here it is now. A memory of another time.
