Well here you all go for those of you who still care about what's up in my life, this is what's been going on recently.
Kevin's car died. IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!! I didn't even touch his car...
Skinny: We've been living at our house for about 10 months now, and we've all figured out what's best for us in the way of transportation to and from work. For Ian it's always been about driving. For Kevn and I it's usually takin' the bus. I like it and for a while I used to get a free fast pass. Kevin does get one for free, and it saves him a bunch on gas every month.
Since this is the case, Kevin tends to not drive to work or school much because he can get there for free using the fast pass that work has given him. Thus his car doesn't move much, if at all. It only moves on the weekends and days he has to move it for street cleaning. The car doesn't get that many miles anymore, and this is not good for cars. They are meant to be driven.
So he tried to start his car on monday, when he wanted to move it for street cleaning. It did not start. He got a little pissed, but not that concerned cuz maybe it was his battery and then Ian could help him when he got back from work. They tried, it didn't work. The battery was fine, Ian thought it was something else. Kev thus needed to push it to the 76 to get it fixed, but didn't want to do it right away. At that point in time, it was late at night and no shop was opened for Kev to even leave it there over night. So Kev and Ian got uber drunk cuz Kev was pissed bout his car. I would be too... The next day he got a parking ticket. Luckily he only got one.
Fast forward to last night (saturday night). Kevin recruits Ian and I to help him push his car up the hill a lil ways so that he can get it fixed. However, before we do that we need to get the battery back in working order because somehow the battery has died. No clue how or why, but it did. So Ian pulls his car around and gives Kev a lil juice for his battery. Oddly enough, Kevin gets his car to start. WHAT THE FUCK?! *sigh* So, just to be sure, Kevin drives around for a bit to charge his battery as well as make sure that the car starts the next time around.
Then Ian and I head into the bar cause I told Ian I'd buy him a few beers and that I wanted to play some pool as well. Kevin is still driving his car around and then he starts looking for a parking spot. During this time Ian and I get a beer and start to play pool. The bar is set up where there's two pool tables, one right next to the other one. On the other pool table are four humans of the female variety. Now, these women don't look to be of legal drinking age. Once Ian and I get done with our first game, we sit down and wait for Kevin. We also get into a little debate about how old they all are. They honestly look to me no younger than my sister and certainly no older than Kevin. Kevin is 24, Ian is 23 and I am 21. Sure, they could all be 21, their manner certainly spoke just as much. It seemed like they had all just became of legal age and they were using it to their advantage, like any other person(s) of similar situations would be doing.
Anywayz, Kevin comes in, gets a drink and we end up playing a game of cut throat on the pool table. If you don't know how to play, look it up. It's a fun game, specially when there's a lot of players on the table. Anywayz, we play our game and keep checkin' out the women/girls/most deffinately females on the table next to ours. Finally I get the three of us another round and tell Kevin to go ask the girls to a tournament of pool. It takes us forever to get us all to sort out who is on whose team and finally get everybody's name down. Ian and some girl whose name starts with J, Kevin and Rebecca, Aleni and Kjersten, and myself. I was just too good to be put on one team. (I have improved Paul and when you show up next, your ass is going to be handed to you! MARK MY WORDS!) So we played a small little tournament where Kevin and Rebecca played Ian and J-something. Whoever won that game would play the winner of the game I played against Aleni and Kjersten.
Turns out that all of them are older than we thought, much older in fact. Rebecca is the oldest of them all at 28, Kjersten is 27, J-something is 26 and Aleni is 25. They all just look and act much younger than we all thought they really were. Coincidentally, they were also speculating our ages becuase we looked so young to them. They all thought Kevin and Ian were the oldest 21 and I was using a fake ID to get in. They all thought I had just graduated High School or something around there and that I must get all these High School age chicks to ask me out. Huh...
After a good couple games of pool, we had been invited to Aleni's b-day bash which was going to be held at the same bar we were at. Aleni is 25 "today", 9/11 and you can bet that Kevin, Ian and I will be there. It was quite a night, both mistaking them for being too young and being mistaken for being too young to go to a bar. Twas awesome.
So, just so you will all know what kind of week this is going to be, I will let you know how my stomach may or may not fare this week. Today is Aleni's b-day party I will be going to. Should be a couple of drinks, a few shots and hopefully a good time had by all. Wednesday is my b-day, and I'm going to get trashed. It's already been decided. I don't have work the following morning, so it's gonna be great. I just hope it's good fun for all involved on a wednesday night. Friday is Matt's bachelor party, and we're going to certainly get him drunk and make him do stupid things. Probably tie him to a flag pole and leave him there till morning or something... don't know yet. Hopefully friends can make it for wednesday, specially Keith cuz I miss him. And I hope that Matt doesn't get cold feet at the bachelor party, it's going to be a huge downer to talk him into it while I'm drunk.
Well, that's all I really wanted to say. That and that I miss my sister. I know she's away at college and probably having uber fun and all, but man.... GAH!
