F*CK THE SOUTH!!!

Jan 11, 2005 04:30

I just got back from the south today. It turned out to not be so boring. It was more like an "interesting" trip, or at least, lets call it that. We left sunday afternoon around 6:30 ish and the trip took about 7 and a half hours to get to where we needed to go. When we got there, we figured that we'd spend the night in the car. As far as WHERE we'd spend the night in the car, my friend wanted to spend the night on a hill top. Fairly secluded and such, and pretty much empty and "away" from the world. When we started our adventure to the top of the hill we didn't go farther than 20 feet before we got stuck in the mud. And then we waited in the rain for about an hour and a half before the tow truck came to drag us out. Since neither of us actually brought any rain gear, it turned out that we were completely soaked when we got back into the car. So we just ended up bitting the bullet and shelled out the money for a hotel room. That was pretty much the end of our day. Which ended at 4:30ish monday morning. And then on our way back the freeway we took down on our way south was flooded. So we had to take a 3 hour detour to find another way home. And since we ended up leaving for home at about 7 o'clock monday night, add the three hour detour, we really left for home at about 10 o'clock. So, now it's 4:30 and I'm writting in my freakin' journal. We got back home about 15 minutes ago, and I'm not really that tired. Yet. So, certain parts of the drive was... interesting. Hah.

BTW, Jimmy Eat World ROCKS!!! And the picture that I'm usin' with this post reminds me of how the car was stuck in the mud last night.
