So, you want to hear a weird story? You sure do.
So Christ and I are working at the polls for the upcoming primaries on March 2. We both signed up, but we didn't know where they would send us. We were hoping we'd both be at the same place, but J. Bonakdar (who signed us up) told us that they usually only have one student worker at each place. So yesterday at school, Christ asks me if I got the paper saying where I worked. He told me he got his, and it said Highlands and that one other student was working there, but didn't say who. So yesterday afternoon, Christ and Wes just show up at my house to ask me if I'll go skating with them. As my earlier entry states, I agreed. Well, anyway, so I went to get the mail, and lo and behold, my letter was in there. But, crazily enough, so was one for Christ, but with my address on there. We both had Highlands. I thought that was pretty crazy that somehow his had got mailed to me and to him, and that he was there when I opened it (he hadn't been to my house in probably 6 months prior). Just when I think the story is pretty crazy, I talk to Christ online today. Our conversations went something like this:
Christ: I talked to my mom today, and apparently I never got that letter that I claimed to get.
Me: What the hell?
Christ: Apparently, I made it up and just assumed that I'd be at Highlands.
Me: What the hell?
What I only just now realized is that it's crazy that he not only knew where it was, but that two people would be working there. The letter doesn't even say how many people are going there.
Well, now that I've wasted your time, I'll leave you with a
funny link to make amends.
Later fawls!
