Spock's comfort was so sweet and warm, a beautiful counterpoint for the deep grief and rage and helplessness you wrote for Jim this chapter. I want to hug them both. <3

That letter, wtf, Sam D; Be more of a dick, why don't you. Thank goodness Jim's got Spock to cling to now. But I'm sorry for Spock now that he's going to have to deal with Jim's upcoming death once the fact actually sinks in, when he's barely made through losing his mom.
