i'm so awesome
yeah, that's right ... i'm awesome. i haven't posted in MONTHS (so that's a start). secondly, i have an 8am final and it's 240am. thirsdayly, i haven't studied yet. fourthyl, i decide NOW to check lj and post. wow. go me. to sum up my life in the past few months: gymkana, art, honors program, mascotting, big crush, lots o' poetry, chinese food. congrats, you're up to date. i'll leave you with one of the 30 something poems i've written in the past few months. this one's from the other day.
it's in the driver's seat now,
beating and pumping.
how can it pay attention to the road?
no eyes to see red flags,
no ears to hear the sirens,
no feet for the brakes or hands for the wheel.
all it can do is keep on going,
wherever it is,
wherever it's been.
and therefore it'll get there,
wherever there is,
no matter how bumpy and twisted the path may be.
