so, we got a new flatmate today. flatmate is the appropriate word because he's fresh from the UK. the man is named Andrew, and he told us to call him Buggy (i automatically linked that with "bugger" which i know to mean "have sex", but he claims that's not the reason they call him that). he's a lot of fun, really funny. we threw a party for him tonight to welcome him, which went over well, i believe. i don't think his actual roommate is going to like him, which might be okay because we really really want him to leave (Buggy's roommate, Scott). so hopefully Buggy with drive Scott mad and Scott will go, leaving us Scott-free (somebody shoot me for that one). no seriously, Buggy is a good man and this semester should be nuts because of him. oh yeah, and i'm TAing a class. that means i'm teaching people. not only am i teaching people, i'm teaching the highest level art theory class the school offers. so i'm pretty proud of that. be happy for me. or be a dick.
