It is still making me feel all tingly
All things going according to plan, my iMac should ship today and begin the slow dance of the courier down the country, arriving on Monday or Tuesday. Somehow this takes some of the magic out of buying an Apple, as if I had expected it to arrive by non-corporeal means: perhaps, when one is emotionally ready for an iMac, it ought to appear beside you as if summoned, floating gently on a misty cloud of unicorn dreams and zen koans.
Anyway, it was painful last night to reduce the experience to numerical form, as my bank account was commensurately lessened sometime while I was asleep. I am taking something of a gamble on the fact that courier companies do this sort of thing all the time, as nobody seemed willing to insure the machine for over two thirds of its purchase value. I hope this is not a Clew.
I am so excited I can't breathe; or maybe that is just my cold.
48Hours starts in eleven and a half. Much more excited than I was last year, particularly about getting to make sure we have a proper script with dialogue and everything.
I CAN BARELY CONTAIN ALL THIS AWESOME.
