I am posting this from the Mac Mini I have on loan from my father, with a view to purchasing one in the next year or so.
Cons (so far)
- I hate the keyboard (note to self: buy a PS/2 to USB adaptor)
- It is taking a while to remember to close the applications and not just their windows
- I can't properly install Ruby until I have downloaded XCode (923MB!)
- Home and end keys apparently don't work on Macs. This will take some getting used to.
Pros (so far)
- It is not Windows.
- IT IS BLINDING, THE BEAUTIFUL.
I am also quite liking the LJ entry editor now. It's been a while since I used it, but Semagic is for Windows, and so I can't use that here.
Right. I might go and see if I can hunt down the aforementioned converter.
EXCELSIOR!
