The New York Comiccon is over now and with it begins spring. A pretty awesome show I say. This year Oni was in a fantastic spot with lots of traffic so the debut of Salt Water Taffy was well received. The book looks good and we sold a lot of them. It was great to start off the series here in NYC. Now if only there was an awesome show in Brooklyn I could walk to then I'd be set. We also sold a bunch of Sidescrollers this weekend which I guess surprised me, but it has been getting a lot of buzz in the past year. I've been asked several times about a Sidescrollers 2 which gives me the confidence to do it, but not for a while. I must stick to the Salt Water Taffy plan.
I feel that my work is slowly but surely getting noticed by people and as a creator I'm climbing up that ladder. Slowly though. Just gotta work extra hard to keep the momentum!
