Hello! New mod here. I thought I'd start my modship with a TARDIS big bang of sorts by hosting a ficathon! So may I present to you mattkaren's first...

Matt wasn’t entirely sure what it was that woke him, whether they’d hit a bump in the road or the fact someone sat close had begun to snore (extremely loudly!), but he was most definitely awake now... and aware of only one thing. Curled into him, head resting on his shoulder, Karen was still fast asleep and she was doing a very good job of snuggling in as close as she possibly could.
For several moments he stayed exactly where he was, merely gazing down at her as she slept, watching as she dreamt. But then he soon realised his arm had gone dead, so staying still was definitely no longer an option.
Best get it over with, like ripping off a plaster.
He let a breath go slowly, braced himself for the backlash, and then whipped his arm out from under her.
But nothing happened. Not what he expected to happen, at least.
Karen murmured something incoherent and moved closer, closing the tiny gap he’d managed to make and sliding her arm slowly around his waist, clutching tightly onto his shirt.
It didn’t take long for him to regain the feeling in his arm, and when he did, he smiled down at her, fingers gliding lazily through her hair. He never really took the time to observe her like this. She was so beautiful when she slept - well, all the time really, but he wasn’t about to announce it to anyone. Not yet anyway.
He took one last look, drinking her in, and let his hand drop down to her shoulder. Pulling her body flush to his, revelling in her warmth, he let his eyes drift closed once more. He could definitely get used to this.

I'm delighted one of my prompts is the first to be filled! What a beautiful little fic. Thank you for writing it :) Feel free to leave a prompt if you think of anything.
