There is some fucked up shit on the internet.
I have a lot of music that I've never really listened to. So I've been rotating through all the various albums in the iTunes. Currently, I'm bumping the following:
Smashing Pumpkins-Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness
Some good stuff for both rocking out and gettin all mellow-like. Plus, it's great to listen to all the way through, which is rare for most albums.

J Dilla- Donuts
Another genius hip hop lost far too soon, Dilla's final work lives on as a testament as to why he was (and still is) your favorite DJ's favorite DJ. No big-name guest appearances, no industry beats, not even any rapping, just Dilla doing what he loved: making music. It's hectic, it's off-beat, it's brilliant.

DJ Danger Mouse- The Grey Album
An awesome mash up of Jay-Z's Black Album with the Beatles' White Album. Personal favorite: Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Julia.

The Clash- Self Titled
Sometimes, old school punk is just good.

Black Milk- Popular Demand
Up and coming rapper/producer. He's redonkulous on the beats, and not too shabby on the mic. I recommend.
It's sad to think about how people you once considered your best friends just seem to drift away. The one person you knew everything about and who knew everything about you can become a complete stranger in a matter of only a few months. Life is fucked up that way. I think we should put more emphasis on our connections with other people in life, because in the end, what else do you really have? Embrace your friendships people. Let the small stuff slide, work the big stuff out.
