(no subject)
Oh livejournal, you got me again. Here I am at the altar of your glory, let your grace shine down upon me and my upcoming entry so that I shall not bore anyone to tears. ummm... Amen.
I wish the snow birds would go back home. I went to a restaurant called DeSoto's last week and it looked like the caf at 5 o clock, but it was all geriatrics. They were walking around, hanging out, reeking of mothballs, making out, taking off their cloths, I don't really remember but it was weird.
I think they have also formed the "Let's make Matt late for work" Club. Apparently there only mission is to cut me off on highway 59 and drive at 10 miles looking for a good deal on haircuts and smoking tobacco while I am in danger of being late for work. Crazy old codgers.
So I got my Job back at Lulu's. I am a barback again but I will be trained as a bartender as soon as some more barbacks get hired because as of right now there is only 3 of us. Then I will be able to make a lot of money once it comes time for spring break and summer. It is gonna be awesome.
And I am indeed taking this semester off for rest and reflection. I will be back at Montevallo sometime over the summer or fall to resume my education. Until such time, all my friends up there will have to hold it down for me and keep my seat in the caf warm.
Other things I have gone since I last updated.
-Attended a party in my honor
-Gone to Disney World
-Sang and danced to "I'm a little teapot" in a crowded restaurant
-Saw my Dad dressed as a fairy
-Partied at Crown Royal #15
-Recieved an Ipod from my wonderful girlfriend.
-Played Bingo at a gay bar
-I had my 23rd birthday
Damn, my life has been pretty uneventful... I need to step it up.
I hope next time I update my list will look like this.
-Danced naked in the middle of a desert.
-Visited every continent.
-Killed a Grizzly bear for sport.
-Killed a Grizzly bear because it was spreading lies about my family.
-Won the Tour de France.
-Arm Wrestled a guy from Switzerland for the last seat on a bus.
-Learned Japanese.
-Became the first person canonized for sainthood before they died.
-Lassoed a tornado and rode it around the mid-west.
-Lived for two months as a homeless man in Boston.
-Digested a Turtle Shell.
whatever, I am leaving now.
But thanks Ashley for getting me to do this again. I Love you.
