In the Beginning
Well, here it is. The beginning of a hopefully pleasant experience of an on-line journal. And what better day to start than on Mattie Mc's and Joanna's birthday? None. So happy 18th birthday to those two.
Tonight I had an awesome time with Lauren and Kayla at the Saves the Day/ Thursday/ Hey Mercedes show. We were show slackers and sat down on one of the couches for the whole show, but we got to see everything just fine (except for when certain girls liked to block our view, grrr) and the sound level was perfect. Thursday kicked things off and rocked out big time. It was my first time seeing them and they were even better than i could have hoped for. Hey Mercedes was alright. The sound check guy for Saves the Day was obsessive about getting the right mic levels, cause he checked the thing at least fifty times, each time making a different weird grunt to test. Saves the Day was a good time, and they even played "Take Our Cars Now" acoustic. Woohoo. In your face Matt and Tuck. Shows you what you get for going to your brother's wedding Mattie, and being the drum major of the Lowell High band Tuck. Hah, like they had any choice.
Speakin of Matt and Tuck, I just wanna thank all the wonderful people i've met since last May for just being so wonderful. These past six months have been by far the best in my life and the future is only looking brighter.
