On The Road
So whats been happening in Matt's life lately? The same old nothing.
Tonight I finally bought On the Road. Haven't gotten to far into it, but so far so good.
Wow, what an incredibly vague and blah description of such a great book. I wish i could begin to express some of the thoughts that i've been thinking as i read this book, but they all seem so simple. ahh well. perhaps as i further travel this road, they'll begin to come out.
Went to my little cousin's Birthday Party today. I tell ya, i haven't felt more out of place and awkward (what an awkward word) in such a long time.
Why can't i express what I'm thinking now? All these thoughts are trapped inside my head. I can think them and speak them to myself in my own unique language, but when i try to translate them to english, they become so obtuse and not worth saying. i'm just gonna stop now and try to do something productive with my time. God how i hate the word productive.
"It was my dream that screwed up, the stupid hearthside idea that it would be wonderful to follow one great line across America instead of trying various roads and routes."
