Jenni, Marie, and I went to the football game today. It was fun. We were very disoriented most of the time, none of us being avid football enthusiasts, so we would just cheer when everyone else did. Also, the opposing team's mascop was a little cap-wearing orange with legs who would do somersaults and things. It was amazing.
Afterwards, we went to eat at Burger King, where this guy randomly started talking to us. He kept saying that he was going out for the Florida State football team, and that to be on the team he had to gain like 50 pounds. He was talking about how he ate six meals a day -- three PB&J sandwiches for breakfast, like six tunafish sandwiches a day... And he kept going "No, seriously. Really. You think I'm kidding? I'm not kidding." It was bizarre.
Then we watched Sleepaway Camp while under the influence of reefer, which is somehow even funnier than usual. Who knew that movie could get any more hilarious?
"Hey Bobaree Bob! Hey, hey Bobaree Bob!"
Marie and I rounded out the evening by taking a swim in the fountain in front of the Wescott Auditorium. Someone had put bubbles into the water, it was splendid. But the water was freezing, so we didn't swim for very long.
Oh, as for those parts of my life that I mentioned not liking a few entries ago: I'm taking steps toward fixing them. I'm going home next weekend and will hopefully hang out with a lot of my old friends and catch up. And I've been taking considerable steps in the direction of getting rid of the thing I've been getting into that I think I want out of. But we'll see how that goes.
Stop. HAMMER TIME!
