Housing PSA

I have finally gotten my mother to give me permission to try to sell the manufactured home she inherited from my grandmother at Gramma's death. I really, really want someone who needs a place to live to get this place. The major caveat is that the park needs to approve of anyone moving in. There is no renting, there is no subletting. Roommates are okay, but the person who has their name on the title must, in fact, live there.

Details: 1971 Schultz 12x65 in Milford Twp, MI. 2 BR. Front ramp to door, but full accessibity will require doorsill jumps. All appliances. Corner lot, but NOT on the main drag of the park (this is a good thing). Lots of wood, lots of built-ins. Cute. Srsly. Big shed. Landscaped, but needs some love from someone who cares about, you know, landscaping. Carport w/easy access to the kitchen. Possibly some furnishings, but tell me what you have in mind before I start FreeCycling stuff.

I'm hoping for $2-3k. $3,000 would knock my socks off. Totally really negotiable, but the bottom-line cost is tied to some leftover utility bills from Gramma & Mom. Posting the damned thing on CraigsList, too, but friends and friends-of-friends get dibs.

Oh, new owner will need to spend $125 at move-in to DE-winterize the water pipes and have them reconnected.

If all works out, could be available as soon as 2/1/10. PM me for my phone number if you want me to chat about it or get some piccies.

Oh, yes: I live in the same park. FWIW.
