I don't know who else reads the Daily Prophet, and I often forget myself unless I have tea with Dad and he gives me his copy to take back to the Hufflepuff dormitory because it's good to keep up with these sorts of things, but did anyone else read that article about the conference in Berlin? I admit that I don't know a lot about politics, but would it really be a good idea to get rid of the International Statute of Secrecy? I mean, it's for everyone's protection, both magical and Muggle, right? Not really sure how, so I'll have to think about it first. Do you think we'll talk about this in Muggle Studies? It sounds like something we should talk about in that class.
Is it really true that there's going to be a new Department Head for Muggle Relations? I don't think Dad really knows, and Mum has been trying to get in touch with Uncle Ernie and Uncle Justin about it, but I don't think she's heard back from either of them yet. Maybe they went fishing. I think they go fishing together a awful lot, but I could be wrong about that. Mum went to that thing that Muggle group put together on Sunday too, since it was in Diagon Alley anyway, and she said it was very interesting and all that, but she's heard it all before from Uncle Justin anyway, though it's good that they're getting it out to more people, even if she's not really sure what she thinks about all of that now. It's very confusing and complicated!
