Leave Date...For Real This Time
Yup, I actually have it now. I am set to leave Camp Bucca on the 15th of May which puts me into the States around the 17th. Have to change my schedule around a little bit but I am still going to be in Raleigh, Wilmington and Greenville but the amounts of time will change a little bit, as I get closer to the date I'll have a better idea of a plan, I need people's numbers so I can call and get things planned out with them.
Interesting conversation with my team leader and squad leader over the past couple of days. Never thought that being from an upper middle class family would be a disadvantage but apparently to some it is, because I think on a different level than most enlisted do. And according to those same people I'll make a better officer than I will an NCO because of the way that I was raised. Hmmm, something I'll have to think about.
