I feel as though this is my 100th time writing about this, but I know I didn’t writing about it here.

So I guess I’ll write about it again. Kat posted the pics that were taken of the final project on her website. Mine looks like crap compared to all the others. Though I didn't like mine completely, everyone was giving me compliments on mine. Mainly because most of the stuff that I had been doing through out the semester was really light. The media I used, conté and blue colored charcoal paper, really was a complete change. It was dark and bold. The blue paper really made the red conté pop out on the page. That wasn't quite my reasoning behind using it in the first place, but I'm glad I did. I really do love Kat's and Patrick's work. Kat is very much talented as well as Patrick, but aside from the skill part I like the technique that he used. I think it turned out very well for him. Lewis got off easy and did a fig tree, which is totally amazing. Mr. Welsh and Mr. Snyder were asked if they'd sell their art. Welsh said could part with his but it wouldn't be cheep since he really likes it. Snyder said he didn't like the idea of selling his art and probably wouldn't. I remember over hearing a conversation that he should do an art exchange with another artist.

I guess she didn't resize them at all. Good for me I guess. I downloaded them all, tried to fix them up as much as possible. I tried out photoshop CS2's "Lens Correction" feature, which worked pretty good. I didn't want to crop, but I did despite that fact. I tried to keep the cropping to a minimum. After that I matted them all in black. Not sure if I should have done it in black but meh. Some of them it really helped the picture. I just wish I had a better picture of Mr. Welsh's. It being on copper didn't help with the picture and all. There's a big glare spot on it from the flash of the camera. Very disappointing since it is a very beautiful piece. Miss Wells had another problem, she brought her pictures rolled up. The pictures then of course weren’t completely flat when they were put up for viewing. Her 3rd piece was a disaster in trying to fix because I had to crop a lot of the left side. Even so It looks a lot better then what's posted right now, at least in my opinion. I was thinking of sending the fixed pictures to Kat so she could repost them, so that they are upright ad a bit more presentable. Though I'm afraid that people might not like that I cropped some of their work and matted it.

I wonder how long before it should be before I start eating solid foods again. I'm kind of worried that if I start eating solid foods to soon that I'll develop a dry socket. Maybe I'll start on Thursday after my follow up appointment and I have had a chance to talk to the Dr. Cunningham.
